02. STILLS IN MOTION "Stills in motion" may sound surprising, as any kind of "movie" is indeed "stills in motion". However the following work is not trying to hide it, but intends to work with it, to reveal it, to use it. Human experiences of time and space are relative and this method of stopping time frames, freezing them, instead of blending them,leaving some parts out, maybe inserting illogically fragments, maybe succeeds in visualizing the moment - moments - time, and how it stays or passes, is memorized or not, is fleeting or remains. In the following movies a digital camera was used to create the stills, afterwards they were stitched together and worked on. These are my first experiments. (What you will see are no internet-loadingproblems nor unintended jumping of images, if the file is fully loaded) You will need the Adobe Flash Player* to view the movies. Thank you.
